I was honored to represent the VEA for 6 years on the NEA Resolutions Committee. I was able use my classroom knowledge and communication skills to help shape NEA Resolutions. I was selected to chair several sub-committees, picked to represent the Resolutions Committee on Teacher Evaluation issues, and participated in national conversations about education reform. I represented all members including the ESPs, sponsoring resolutions that ensured fair treatment for ESPs.
